The bible teaches us that although this life will be difficult God wants us to be “…strong and courageous…(Deuteronomy 31:6)” God asks us to have peace in this life as through Jesus we can overcome whatever storms life brings upon us (John 16:33). “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him. Nahum 1:7” The apostle Paul was in despair at times, “But he (God) said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” “Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9”. From the Bible we know that Paul was shipped wrecked, and beaten. Yet, he tells us “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (Romans 8:37).” “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28).” We can rejoice as the Bible puts it “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19”. How great it is to know that there is nothing that we need which God will not provide. May the peace of God be with you. Amen.
