In, the Gospel of Matthew 16 people saw the Son of God who has did miracles yet they tested Him asking for Him to show a sign from Heaven. Jesus, then refuses to show them a sign but does recount when He did multiple the loafs. Without, asking for a sign Peter confesses that “Thou [Jesus] are the Christ the “Son of the Living God”. Jesus, ask all people to “take up there cross” and follow Him. Jesus tells them that He will die and rise again on the third day. Yet, Peter basically says to Jesus ‘you will not die’. It, was the will of God that Jesus die and also God’s will that He would rise from the dead. Jesus, “Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. Acts 2:24” is the Savior of Mankind. God has provided a way to be united with Him and the Only way is through Jesus Christ. “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 17:3.” Amen.
